What a good first week we had. We learnt about lots of maori things. We had a lesson with Mrs Yeomen and she taught us the maori words for cat, dog, bird and goldfish. The word for bird is manu the word for dog is kuri, the word for cat is ngeru and we can't remember the word for goldfish because it was too hard! We also sang some waiata.
