Over the last few weeks we have been writing instructions. We wrote instructions for general things like brushing your teeth and then we moved onto recipes. We made fairy bread and wrote the recipe for this.
On Tuesday we were learning about how a hangi is cooked. We practised some of the steps in making a hangi by making chocolate bananas. You can read some of the children's recipes below.
We also used our imaginations to make some disgusting recipes... BAT BURGERS, SLUG STEW and HEART BREAK ICECREAM to name a few!!!!
Bananas and
chocolate
- 1 banana
- 5 marshmallows
- 3 pieces
of chocolate
What you need:
- Tin foil
- Plate
- Knife
- Get a banana.
- Then peel the banana.
- Cut the banana.
- Put 3 pieces of chocolate in.
- Put 5 pieces of
marshmallows in.
- Wrap it up with tin foil.
- Put it in the oven.
- Eat it!

Ingredients:
- 5 marshmallows
- 3 pieces of chocolate
What you need:
- tin foil
- plate
- knife
1 Put your banana on your plate.
2 Peel your banana.
3 Cut your banana but not all of it.
4 Put 3 pieces of chocolate on your plate.
5 Put 5 marshmallows on your plate.
6 Put your banana in the oven and cook for 15 minutes.
7 Eat it!
